# Creating Collection

<figure><img src="/files/9XosdYrY3padJEFgcDP2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Create Empty Collection

Start with a blank collection and manually add products later. Ideal if you want to build your collection from scratch rather than importing existing product data.

### CSV/JSON Upload&#x20;

* Drag & drop or browse to select your file.
* File size limit: 32 MB.
* Supported formats: CSV, JSON ([sample templates available](/pixyle.ai-documentation/api-endpoints/collection-processing-api/upload-examples.md)).

### Third-Party Import

* [Connect your Shopify store](/pixyle.ai-documentation/integration-manual/third-party-integrations/shopify-integration.md) to automatically import your products. This saves time by syncing product data directly from your e‑commerce platform.
* Import products directly from your Google Merchant Center feed. Best if you already manage your product catalog there and want quick integration.
* Pull in products from your Algolia index. Useful if you use Algolia as your search/indexing platform and want to keep your catalog consistent across systems.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://pixyleai.gitbook.io/pixyle.ai-documentation/user-guide-data-enrichment-platform/collections/creating-collection.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
