# Shopify Platform Features

 

### Import Products from Shopify

Once Pixyle has a connection to your store you will be able to import all non-imported products from your Shopify store directly in the Pixyle platform.\
When the products are imported, Pixyle will create a single collection, process it and generates extra data for all features that you are using. When the processing is done you will be able to work with the collection as a regular one:

* Edit collection name,
* Get inside it,
* List products,
* Edit products etc.

You can find the ‘Import from Shopify’ option on the 'Collections' screen. Click the ‘+ New Collection’ drop-down in the top-right corner of the menu bar to see this option.

### Upload Data to Shopify‍

After the products are imported and Pixyle platform generates data for them, you have the option to upload this enriched data back to your Shopify store and update the existing products. This can include adding automatic tags, optimized tags, titles, descriptions and other enhancements to improve your store's performance. You can upload the data in two ways:

1. Uploading the collection itself (all products from the collection will be updated):
   1. Open the 'Collections' screen
   2. Click on the three dots that are at the end of a collection row
   3. In the menu choose: ‘Upload to Shopify’
2. Each product separately (the existing products will be updated):
   1. Open the 'Collections' screen
   2. Select a collection
   3. Select a product
   4. When on the product page in the top right corner click on the ‘Upload to Shopify’ button

**Updated fields**

When uploading products and their data to Shopify, the following fields are updated:

1. **Title**: Updated with the generated title from the Title Generation feature (default language)
2. **Description**: Updated with the generated description from the Description Generation feature (default language)
3. ‍**Tags**: Extended with
   1. Tags from Automatic Tagging feature (selected language)
   2. Tags from Optimized Site Search tags feature (selected language)

Please note that these are the default settings. If needed, we can customize the upload to include any other relevant fields.
